Hello Gents, The farm has just taken up too much of my life lately to keep my account active, so some time ago i cancelled it. Not a permanent move, but when my kids destroyed my mic and stick in the same 5 minutes, i realized I hadn't played in weeks and it was probably time for a break. Morpheus was in a motorcycle accident April 23. He has spent a lot of time in a comma but is now coming around. He is still in the hospital recovering. They had to remove a portion of his skull to relieve pressure and looks like its going to be a long ride home. I thought it would be nice if we as a squad would reply to his thread on Aces High BBS. OK here it is for 8" guns. After many sorties this is how you maintain perfect hits with a cruiser. The CV moves at exactly .2k per gun reload. So once you have hit target remember your range and if closing lets say from 12.6k out and you hit lets say a SB and are closing, your next shot AS SOON AS YOUR GUN RELOADS (no delay) should be 12.4 then 12.2 get the idea. now this is tested both coming and going from target just adjust your 8" plus or minus .2 once you score a hit. I am so sick of the arena caps that have 200 people in them but cap is set at 100. someone explain the brilliant idea behind limiting what arena you can get into. I hate spending an hour just to get into the arena where everyone is and its rather dumb to join an arena with 26 people in it but its cap is 250 when the other has 200 people but cap is 100. Someone help explain how to get around that BS if possible. Admin at HTC gave me a bullshit reason stating everyone wants to play in the arena ...

I have long had an Idea thaty I thought would be fun to try out. I would like us to team up with a squad from another country and mount a couple of raids with them. We used to be friendly with the LTARS and I thought they could do a ground assault on a base with us providing air cover. Help them take a base then reverse the roles. Nothing strategic, just for fun. Any thoughts? Or would it just be hard to pull off.

It's been a few days now flying for Bishland and I was wondering if there were any general impressions of our visit to the Bish side. Personally I find the Bish text a lot more than we generally do, and there is a general lack of calling check 6's, or even semi-relevant radio chatter. Also the months worth of empty pizza boxes and piles of beer cans in the tower gives a pretty sloppy impression. On the plus side there is a distinct lack of drdeth, tripl5, and others on the Rook ...

"Fighter Combat" - Tactics and Maneuvering, by Robert L. Shaw is probably the best documentation of flying there is. For newer guys and even the vets that want to improve your skills, this is the best way to learn tactics. I haven't finished it yet, but the info is invaluable. I highly recommend it and you will be amazed how much it can help.

After screwing around with it for the better part of the afternoon I supprised myself and made some kewl stuff. If you would like to have a squad avatar let me know. After all these months flying the beautiful Mosquito I have finally found another ride. This tour my primary ride will be the P-51D flown light. I started flying it at the end of tour 100 and finally figured out the convergance on the 50cals. I have them set at 350, 325, and 300. This produces a beautiful chain saw effect when fired at 400 through 250 yards. I must say I have never been a good pony stick but I have found that flying the Mossie has developed skills that the P-51 ...

IF you take a high perk plane up and you get discoed you loose those points. I spoke with Skuzzy about a 262 I took up last night. 2 minutes into the flight I was disconected from the game and it cost me 229 points. Skuzzy tells me that their system can't tell if you were discoed. He says that a lot of players will disconect their modems while flying a high perk plane to keep from loosing points when being attacked so you loose the points no matter what happends. I think that is bullshit because ...
